Suwon KT Wiz Park Renovated as 'AI Stadium'
AI-Based Technologies Introduced, Including Crowd Density Guidance and Real-Time Translation
KT announced on the 23rd that it will launch a new artificial intelligence (AI) master brand called 'K intelligence'. K intelligence is a new brand name that combines ‘K’, symbolizing KT and South Korea, with ‘intelligence’, meaning smartness.
K intelligence represents KT's AI products and services. KT also released an advertisement for the launch of K intelligence that highlights the AI DNA of Koreans.
Along with the new brand launch, KT has renovated Suwon KT Wiz Park into the 'AI Stadium'. This is the first time AI technology has been introduced in a professional sports stadium in Korea.
The AI Stadium uses KT’s closed-circuit (CC) TV AI video analysis, developed in collaboration with AI solution company Superb AI, to provide real-time crowd density information to spectators inside the stadium.
In the sky box, the 'Hi-Order' system has been introduced, enabling a smart ordering service where ordered food is delivered directly to seats. KT DS also provides AI-based real-time translation subtitle services to support foreign fans watching the games.
To commemorate the launch of the AI Stadium, KT showcased a K intelligence ceremony using 350 drones during the opening game of the 2025 KBO League regular season on the 22nd.
KT plans to enable more customers to experience K intelligence at the AI Stadium through real-time communication events between players and fans using AI human technology, as well as generative AI customer experience events.
Yoon Tae-sik, KT’s Head of Brand Strategy Office (Senior Executive Director), stated, "We will strive to enhance brand awareness of K intelligence by delivering diverse advertising campaigns and customer communication-oriented brand experiences."
