Kim's side stated on the 14th day of the hunger strike, "Kim was immediately transported to the hospital at 7:15 PM following the medical staff's strong recommendation to stop the hunger strike immediately."
Kim's side reported that his blood pressure and blood sugar levels had dropped to concerning levels, and symptoms of dehydration also appeared. The medical staff had also advised Kim to stop the hunger strike the previous day due to concerns about his worsening health.
