On Commerce Day, BN Group Receives Two Presidential Citations

Two executives from BN Group, a local company based in Busan, received Presidential Commendations in celebration of Commerce and Industry Day.

BN Group announced on the 21st that at the 52nd Commerce and Industry Day ceremony held at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry International Conference Hall on the 19th, Jo Woo-hyun, CEO of Daesun Distilling Co., Ltd., a major affiliate, and Lee Kwangsoo, CEO of BN Steel La Co., Ltd., were awarded Presidential Commendations.

Jo Woo-hyun, CEO of Daesun Distilling, was highly recognized for his contributions to the national economy and social development in various fields, including the establishment of smart factories, realization of ESG management, job creation, management innovation, creation of new industries, and social contribution.

CEO Jo said, "Thanks to the unwavering support of our customers for Daesun Distilling, we were able to continuously pursue manufacturing innovation and community contribution activities, which led to this meaningful award."

He added, "We will actively respond to changing liquor consumption trends and the aggressive expansion of large liquor companies in the Seoul metropolitan area, always prioritize local consumer satisfaction, and contribute to the development of the regional economy."

Lee Kwangsoo, CEO of BN Steel La, was recognized for his contributions to the development of the national industry through continuous technology development, productivity and quality improvement via smart factory establishment, active exploration of new markets, support for mutual growth with partner companies, and enhancement of employee capabilities.

CEO Lee commented, "I believe this achievement is the result of all our executives and employees working together towards technological innovation and the establishment of smart factories."
