Since its operation began in 2003, this facility has been located in an apartment shopping complex building over 30 years old, raising the need for facility improvements. The city invested 286 million KRW and started major remodeling of architecture, fire safety, and electrical facilities from March last year.
During the remodeling process, the city reflected the opinions of the youth using the facility and prepared ▲ caf?-style rest areas ▲ ondol floors ▲ indoor restrooms ▲ multipurpose rooms ▲ club rooms, among others.
Lee Min-geun, Mayor of Ansan City, said, "I hope the newly renovated facility becomes a space filled with the dreams and passion of youth," adding, "We will continue to provide various spaces so that young people can nurture their dreams."
