Maniker, the first domestic chicken brand company, announced on the 21st that it will hold the "19th Maniker Cup National Amateur Tennis Tournament" from the 23rd to the 30th.
The tournament, organized by the Korea Tennis Advancement Association (KATA) and the Korea Amateur Tennis Federation (KATF), and co-hosted by Maniker and Yongin Ace Club, began in 2006 and is celebrating its 19th edition this year.
A total of 1,000 teams and over 2,000 participants will compete in six categories: Chrysanthemum Division, Forsythia Division, Open Division, Veteran Division, National Rookie Division, and Mixed Doubles Division.
A Maniker representative stated, "Through this tournament, we aim to practice the slogan 'Creating a healthy lifestyle beyond healthy food culture' and contribute to the health improvement of the entire nation." He added, "As part of our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management efforts, we are pleased to contribute to revitalizing the local economy by holding the tournament annually in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, where our headquarters is located."
To commemorate the tournament, Maniker plans to hold a special event from March 21 to 24 on its official Instagram account, offering eco-friendly goods made from recycled plastic.
Additionally, Maniker products, which focus on health, will be available at discounted prices through various promotions on online channels such as Maniker Mall and Naver Store.
