A Platform for Communication Between Management and the Junior Board
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Park Sunghyun, YGPA) announced on the 21st that it held a 'Junior Board Meeting' on the 19th to facilitate communication and empathy between Executive Vice President Hwang Hakbeom and the YGPA Junior Board.
The YGPA Junior Board, referred to as the 'Youth Board of Directors,' consists of junior employees with less than five years at the company, who express their opinions on company policies and culture and participate in management. Since its inaugural ceremony in December last year, the board has been identifying and proposing agendas to improve the company's working methods and organizational culture.

This meeting was part of YGPA management's on-site communication activities. The Junior Board members and executives exchanged candid opinions and explored ways to develop the company's organizational culture, focusing on improvement agendas derived from collecting feedback from all junior employees.
During the meeting, the Junior Board presented a total of four organizational culture improvement agendas: ▲operating a communication channel between entry-level employees and the Junior Board ▲improving communication programs by department ▲rational and detailed work assignments ▲regular personnel system operations. The Executive Vice President and relevant department heads listened to the proposals and had an open discussion with the Junior Board members on various topics related to communication culture and working methods within the organization.
YGPA Executive Vice President Hwang Hakbeom stated, "It was a very meaningful opportunity to hear the honest thoughts of our junior employees on the company's organizational culture through this meeting," and added, "We will continue to expand opportunities for communication and empathy with our staff and actively support the creation of a proactive and vibrant organizational culture."
