Internship Opportunities and Hiring Benefits for Outstanding Graduates
Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 21st that it is recruiting students for the 6th class of the ‘Pro Digital Academy,’ a financial IT talent development program.
The Shinhan Investment Corp. Pro Digital Academy is an employment-linked training program operated since the end of 2022 to nurture financial IT talent. It is part of the K-Digital Training program led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. The total number of recruits is around 40, and any unemployed youth who can issue a National Tomorrow Learning Card through the Employee Training Portal (HRD-NET) can apply.
The training is conducted free of charge over a total of six months. It consists of financial IT, cloud, front-end and back-end programming, and projects related to financial services. Through mentoring by current Shinhan Investment Corp. employees, financial special lectures, and projects related to the securities industry, participants can gain a comprehensive understanding of the securities company.
Outstanding graduates are given document exemption benefits during Shinhan Investment Corp.’s open recruitment and are offered internship opportunities. Shinhan Investment Corp. explained that 30% of the new hires in the ICT and digital sectors from the second half of 2024 are graduates of the Pro Digital Academy. From the 1st to 4th classes, a total of 113 university students completed the program. Among them, 47 participated in internships. Of the 27 students who completed the 5th class on the 18th, outstanding graduates are also expected to participate in internships during the second quarter.
Applications for the 6th class will be accepted from March 21 to April 4 on the Shinhan Investment Corp. recruitment website. After the selection process, training will be conducted for six months from April 22 to October 24.
