Lights Off at 8:30 PM on the 22nd
World Wide Fund for Nature's '2025 Earth Hour' Campaign
50 Companies Including Lotte World Tower and Mall Operators and Tenants Participate
Lotte World Tower announced on the 21st that it will participate in the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)'s global lights-off campaign, '2025 Earth Hour.' Accordingly, the lights at Lotte World Tower will be turned off for one hour starting from 8:30 PM on the 22nd.
Earth Hour is a global nature conservation campaign that takes place every year on the last Saturday of March, during which unnecessary lights are turned off for one hour starting at 8:30 PM to raise awareness about the importance of climate change and nature protection. It began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, and now involves major landmarks in over 190 countries.

Lotte World Tower has participated in the Earth Hour campaign annually since 2019. This year as well, about 50 companies, including the operators of Lotte World Tower and Mall and tenants, have joined forces.
For 30 minutes before and after the lights-off event, the Lotte World Tower media facade will broadcast content announcing the start of Earth Hour. The green exterior wall, representing the blue planet, will display the number '60' indicating the 60 minutes of lights-off. This symbolizes taking a rest for 60 minutes after the switch is turned off.
Kim Hyuk-shin, CSV Team Leader at Lotte Property & Development, said, "Lotte World Tower's participation in the Earth Hour campaign for seven consecutive years holds significance as a practical action toward sustainable ESG management."
