LG Electronics is expanding its lineup of the converged air purifier 'LG PuriCare Aero Series,' which can be used in various ways according to lifestyle.

On the 21st, LG Electronics announced the launch of new products including the table-type air purifier 'Aero Furniture,' the air purifier combined with a pet cat seat 'Aero Cat Tower,' and the air purifier equipped with a Bluetooth speaker 'Aero Speaker.' The new products are designed with a modular design, allowing customers to replace the top attachment according to their preferences and needs. For example, a customer using the Aero Speaker who later gets a pet cat can purchase the pet cat seat separately, detach the speaker, and attach the seat.

The Aero Cat Tower, targeting the pet market, will be launched first in Korea and Japan. According to a report by KB Management Research Institute, as of the end of 2022, the number of pet-owning households in Korea was 5.52 million, which is about one in every four households, and in Japan, the number of households owning pet cats has surpassed those owning pet dogs.

The pet cat seat of the Aero Cat Tower is dome-shaped to provide a sense of security for the cat. When the cat sits, a low-noise pet cat cleaning mode is activated, and the heating function keeps the seat warm. It also features a weight measurement function. This considers that weight changes in cats, which are sensitive to stress, can be signs of health issues. Weight trends can be checked on a monthly, weekly, and yearly basis through the LG ThinQ app.

The Aero Speaker applies LG XBOOM's Anti-Rolling technology to deliver clear mid and low tones. It helps with relaxation and sound sleep through nine themed mood lighting options and eight healing sounds.

The new products are equipped with the 'AI Customized Operation' function, which has received 'AI+ Certification' from the Korea Standards Association and the nationally accredited testing and certification body EyesStone. AI Customized Operation analyzes indoor air quality every hour and stops the air purifier fan and dims the display brightness during times when the air quality is clean, saving energy.

Additionally, the Aero Series is equipped with the 'V Filter' and 'V Pet Filter (exclusive to Aero Cat Tower),' which remove five major harmful gases including ammonia, formaldehyde, toluene, acetic acid, and acetaldehyde.

LG Electronics explains that using a subscription service that provides regular maintenance allows for more hygienic use. Care experts manage the product by performing internal and external cleaning, replacing genuine filters, and conducting status checks. Free repair benefits are also provided during the subscription period. When subscribing to the Aero Cat Tower, fur and foreign substances attached to the pet cat seat are cleaned, and the seat fabric is replaced at 30 and 60 months.

The retail price of the Aero Cat Tower is 1,099,000 KRW, and the Aero Speaker is 899,000 KRW. Based on a 6-year contract, the monthly subscription fee is 33,900 KRW and 28,900 KRW respectively, with a care manager visiting every six months.
