Operation Begins for Relocated Guro-gu Workers' Comprehensive Support Center

Relocated to the First Floor of Guro G-Valley Gymnasium
Office, Counseling Room, and Training Room Established

Guro-gu announced that the Guro-gu Workers' Comprehensive Support Center has relocated to the first floor of the Guro G-Valley Gymnasium and has begun operations.

Since its opening in March 2012 to protect workers' rights, the Guro-gu Workers' Comprehensive Support Center has been providing professional counseling services to those facing labor-related difficulties such as job insecurity, low wages, wage arrears, non-compliance with the Labor Standards Act, and workplace harassment.

Starting from February, the district carried out about a month of construction work to relocate the Guro-gu Workers' Comprehensive Support Center.

The new space was designed to offer a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere for consultations, with separate office and counseling areas, as well as an education room for labor training.

In particular, as the center moves into the Guro G-Valley Gymnasium, which is scheduled to officially open in May, it aims to contribute to the development of the local economy through rational and mutually beneficial labor-management relations while starting anew in this space.

As before, expert labor consultations are available on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and telephone night labor consultations are offered until 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Outreach labor consultations will continue as well. Every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., consultations are available at the counseling desk on the first floor of the Gwanak Employment Welfare Plus Center, and on the second and last Thursdays of each month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., labor-related legal consultations are provided inside the Guro Digital Complex Station on Line 2.
