National Clean-up Conducted
The Yangjudong Administrative Welfare Center in Yangsan-si, Gyeongnam, conducted a national clean-up in the 'Street of Youth' to welcome the upcoming spring in March.
The 'Street of Youth' is a popular destination for many citizens and tourists, and it requires focused management to maintain a pleasant urban environment and keep Yangjudong clean.
Through this national clean-up, Yangjudong aims to raise environmental awareness among local residents while encouraging proper waste disposal and recycling. In addition, the participating residents and volunteers will be given opportunities to engage with the community and help spread the importance of environmental protection.
Yangjudong chief Oh Suhyeon said, "As we welcome spring, everyone is working together so that many citizens can enjoy a clean and pleasant environment," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide a better environment for residents and visitors."
