This festival is hosted by Baegyangsa Temple, the main temple of the 18th district of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, organized by BTN Buddha Association, and sponsored by Jangseong County. Centered around the Gobulmae, estimated to be 350 years old, the festival features programs that combine meditation and traditional culture.

Various events will take place, including meditation practice led by Monk Geumgang, chairman of the Jogye Order's Seon Meditation Committee, temple food experience with Monk Jeonggwan, sheep-making activities accompanied by Baegyangsa legends, and a stamp tour. Side events such as traditional tea tasting and video and photo exhibitions are also prepared. Those wishing to participate in the festival can make a reservation in advance on the BTN Tour website. Information about the event can be found on the official Baegyangsa website.

Meanwhile, Gobulmae is considered one of the four major plum blossoms in Korea, along with Yulgokmae at Ojukheon in Gangneung, Hwaeommae at Hwaeomsa Temple in Gurye, and Seonammae at Seonamsa Temple in Suncheon.
