The agreement ceremony took place at Dongyang University Dongducheon Campus. The two schools agreed to actively cooperate in various areas such as △establishing an education system linking high schools, universities, and industries △formulating industry-academia convergence education plans △developing regional talent growth plans through employment, growth, and settlement support, to strengthen the employment capabilities of local youth and young adults and promote sustainable growth.

An agreement-type specialized high school is a school that realizes customized education needed by the region through agreements among local governments, education offices, local companies, and specialized high schools. Schools selected as agreement-type specialized high schools receive up to 4.5 billion KRW in financial support over five years, as well as institutional support such as autonomy in curriculum organization and operation.

Meanwhile, Dongducheon City, having been selected last year as a pilot area for the Education Development Special Zone, supports a cultural content entrepreneurship training program by linking specialized high schools and local universities. It is also actively supporting the designation of Korea Culture and Video High School as an agreement-type specialized high school to establish a virtuous cycle of local talent development, employment, and settlement.
