Pocheon City to Launch Pocheon-Style Student-Only Commuter Buses Starting the 24th

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) will officially operate the "Pocheon-type Student-Only School Bus (Pochun Bus)" starting from the 24th to support safe and convenient commuting for middle and high school students in the region.

The "Pochun Bus" will operate on two routes: the Pocheon area and the Soheul area, with two 45-seat charter buses deployed to ensure students' safe travel to and from school.

The Pocheon area route departs from Geumho Eoullim (Pocheon I-Park) and runs to Pocheon Il High School. During school arrival time, it operates once at 8:10 AM, and during dismissal time, it operates twice at 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

The Soheul area route departs from Daebang Noble Land (Idonggyori) and runs to Galwol Middle School. During school arrival time, it operates once at 8:00 AM, and during dismissal time, it operates twice at 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM.

The fare is set the same as the city bus youth fare (1,010 KRW), allowing students to use the service without financial burden.

Meanwhile, the Pochun Bus route map (stops) and operating times can be checked on the Pocheon City Hall website under the news section or through each school's parent notification system (e-Alimi).

Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon said, "With the operation of the Pochun Bus, we will enhance student convenience and create a safe commuting environment," adding, "We hope for the interest and active use by many parents and students."
