Daishin Asset Management announced on the 20th that the 'Daishin Didim All-round Asset Allocation' fund has recorded the highest year-to-date return among all 25 Didim Funds.

Daesin Asset Management, Didim Fund Ranks First in Year-to-Date Returns Among 25 Funds

Didim Funds are balanced fund (BF) type retirement pension products jointly launched by the Korea Financial Investment Association and 25 asset management companies, aiming for stable returns through diversified investments in various assets such as stocks (less than 50% weighting), bonds, and alternative assets.

According to an analysis using the fund rating company Fund Square by Daishin Asset Management, as of the 19th, the year-to-date return of the 'Daishin Didim All-round Asset Allocation' fund is 3.04%, ranking first among the 25 Didim Funds. The average year-to-date return of the other Didim Funds is 0.62%.

The strategy of expanding the relatively strong domestic stock market weighting this year while purchasing long-term bonds whenever interest rates rose to secure capital gains when rates fell proved effective. Additionally, adjusting the hedging ratio amid high exchange rate volatility helped secure foreign exchange gains.

Despite the recent weakness in the global financial market due to the tariff imposition issue by U.S. President Trump, the asset allocation strategy utilizing generative AI (artificial intelligence) achieved favorable results.

The 'Daishin Didim All-round Asset Allocation' fund uses a generative AI model developed in-house by Daishin Asset Management. The generative AI assesses the market and builds an optimal asset allocation portfolio. Furthermore, portfolio managers respond to real-time issues at their discretion and apply currency hedging flexibly.

Jang Nohyeok, Head of Asset Solutions at Daishin Asset Management, said, "Through collaboration between our in-house developed generative AI and portfolio managers, we pursue stable returns even in various market environments," adding, "Since asset allocation hedges market risks, we hope that the Daishin Didim Fund will be used in pension portfolios for retirement assets."
