Gwanak-gu Sillim 3 District (571 Households) Move-in in May... Final Inspection

Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) visited the redevelopment site of the ‘Sillim 3 Redevelopment Promotion Zone’ within the Sillim Redevelopment Promotion District, scheduled for completion in April, to conduct final inspections.

In the Sillim 3 Zone around 316-55 Sillim-dong, a total of 571 apartment units will be built on an area of 35,136.4㎡. Among these, 98 units will be supplied as rental apartments.

On the 19th, Mayor Park Jun-hee of Gwanak-gu visited the Sillim 3 Zone redevelopment construction site along with the union head, construction company, and other project implementers. Mayor Park received reports on the construction progress, including the schedule for completion and move-in, and thoroughly inspected various infrastructure such as apartments, roads, and parks.

He also urged for a safe completion of the construction without disasters or accidents and requested the creation of a residential complex where residents can move in with peace of mind, concluding the schedule.

Additionally, on the 13th, a quality inspection team composed of experts in architecture, machinery, and civil engineering visited the site with prospective residents to conduct a quality inspection. This was intended to check the construction quality such as interior finishing materials and waterproofing processes, and to address any deficiencies before move-in to prevent disputes over defects after occupancy.

Designated as a redevelopment zone in 2008, the Sillim 3 Zone began construction in 2022 after the project implementation plan was approved in 2017, making it the fastest progressing redevelopment project within the Sillim Redevelopment Promotion District.

Move-in will begin in May. The Sillim 3 Zone, which will be reborn as an eco-friendly residential complex linked with the natural resources of Gwanaksan Mountain, is expected by the district office to contribute to realizing the Gwanak-style healing and garden city.

Mayor Park Jun-hee said, “With the completion of the Sillim 3 Zone, we expect to accelerate the progress of other redevelopment projects,” and added, “We will continue to inspect the site and communicate with residents until move-in in May to meet their expectations.”
