TaylorMade, which has raised the standards of golf, unveiled its new product, the ‘2025 The All New P·790 Iron.’ It incorporates special features in its sleek exterior and internal structure. Both a men’s line and a women’s line for intermediate female golfers were released together.

The All New P·790 Iron is a new product developed with a focus on hitting feel. Combining TaylorMade’s proprietary new technology with optimized design for each head and SpeedFoam Air technology, it delivers a smooth hitting sensation. It uses 4340 forged material that is about 20% stronger than the previous model. The thinner face leads to a sweet spot approximately 24% larger, enabling faster ball speed and improved forgiveness.

Reflecting golfers’ needs, it boasts a refined and premium appearance with a thin topline. The improved leading edge enhances consistent shot making and interaction with the turf, aiding a stable swing.

The All New P·790 Iron features optimized center of gravity by number. Long irons are designed for easier, longer, and straighter shots, while mid and short irons offer precision for controlling shots as desired. To lower the center of gravity and increase stability at impact, a stabilizer bar was added on top of the tungsten framework. The stabilizer bar applied to #4-7 irons reduces vibration at impact. The optimal center of gravity placement provides the striking feel of a high-quality forged iron. The All New P·790 Iron set consists of seven irons from #4 through pitching wedge as the standard set.

This time, special attention was given to female golfers. The All New P·790 Women’s line includes the MG4 wedge. It adds restrained femininity along with the powerful performance desired by intermediate female golfers. The MG4 wedge is conceptualized as a laser groove wedge that quickly stops the ball on the green. Applying the All New Spin Tread technology, it shows improved spin performance even on wet greens. The All New P·790 Women’s iron set is composed of #6 through pitching wedge and MG4 wedges (50, 56 degrees). The shaft is Diamana TM50, and the grip is Golf Pride TV360 40g.
