Shinhyup Opens 'Shinhyup Jeju Training Center'

NACUFOK Jeju Training Center Officially Opens in Aewol-eup, Jeju on the 19th

Shinhyup Opens 'Shinhyup Jeju Training Center' ▲On the 19th, officials are taking a commemorative photo at the opening ceremony of the Shinhan Jeju Training Center held in Aewol-eup, Jeju. Provided by the National Credit Union Federation of Korea.


The National Credit Union Federation of Korea (NACUFOK) announced on the 20th that it held the 'NACUFOK Jeju Training Center Opening Ceremony' in Aewol-eup, Jeju, and officially began its operations.


The NACUFOK Jeju Training Center is the second educational training facility established five years after the completion of the Daejeon NACUFOK Central Training Center. It is designed to provide customized education and relaxation simultaneously for credit union executives, employees, and members nationwide.


About 150 people attended the opening ceremony, including Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of NACUFOK; Shin Ik-dong, Chairman of the National Financial Industry Labor Union NACUFOK Branch; Son Seong-eun, CEO of the Credit Guarantee Business; NACUFOK executives; and chairpersons of credit unions across the country. Also present were Jin Myung-gi, Vice Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province; Lee Sang-bong, Chairman of the Jeju Provincial Council; and Kim Soo-young, Chief of Jeju Police Agency, who delivered congratulatory remarks and celebrated the opening of the training center.


On the day, Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of NACUFOK, presented a plaque of appreciation to Jeong Tae-yong, Vice President of Eunmin S&D Co., Ltd., which successfully completed the remodeling of the main building, acknowledging their contribution to the establishment of the training center.


The NACUFOK Jeju Training Center spans a total area of 10,929 pyeong (approximately 36,100 square meters), consisting of a main building with one basement floor and four above-ground floors, and an education building with one basement floor and two above-ground floors scheduled for completion in June this year. It has a total of 95 guest rooms and offers various amenities such as a sports center, swimming pool, and glamping experience site.


In his commemorative speech, Kim Yoon-sik, Chairman of NACUFOK, said, "I hope the NACUFOK Jeju Training Center will become a source of pride for the NACUFOK family, a hub leading the future of credit union education, and a focal point for coexistence with the local community." He added, "I wish the training center to provide a beneficial and meaningful experience to all visiting executives, employees, and members."
