World's First Hologram Golf Ball Released
Exia Hologram and Exia: Two Types Launched
Maximized Alignment with Putting Line Application
This is a golf ball that shines on the field. The domestic golf brand Volvik has launched two types of Exia: the Exia Hologram, which is the world's first to apply hologram technology, and the Exia, which achieves extreme distance.
Testing was conducted at the Sports Equipment Testing Laboratory of the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation. Robot test results confirmed an increase in distance compared to competing products. It boasts excellent directional control due to high grip and superior spin performance due to high friction. The Exia Hologram features a 360-degree hologram putting line never seen before on conventional golf balls. Its unique design maximizes alignment sense, increasing putting success rates. The ball does not easily slip during putting, enabling precise directional control.
Additionally, the hologram’s distinctive sparkling effect that wraps the ball 360 degrees helps quickly locate the ball even in deep rough or wooded courses. It also compensates for the shortcomings of traditional white balls. The prism aesthetic visible depending on light intensity is outstanding. It adds fun to enjoying golf on the field.
Both the Exia Hologram and Exia deliver powerful performance in distance and control. They apply power dual-core technology with a firm center and soft outer layer to accumulate maximum energy at the moment of impact. This creates a stable straight flight with strong speed. The cover is treated with F.N.C Glossy coating, which is resistant to contamination. Durability is improved, and water repellency is excellent, maintaining consistent spin performance even in rainy conditions.
Volvik’s patented Seamless 366 Dimple technology minimizes air resistance. Consistent trajectory flight is possible. It is designed so that golfers with slower head speeds can also achieve stable distance.
