The award ceremony was attended by Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, Park Woorang, Mayor of Sinan-gun, and related staff members. Sinan-gun raised a total of 709.07 million won, including 530 million won last year and 170 million won during the Hope 2025 Sharing Campaign, achieving 149.8% compared to 2023 and contributing to the spread of a culture of sharing.

Along with the ceremony, Hwang Hyeryang, Head of the Elderly Health and Welfare Planning Team, was awarded the Jeollanam-do Community Chest of Korea President's Award for her leading contribution to the spread of the sharing culture. All the funds raised will be used this year to support projects aimed at resolving welfare blind spots, such as caring for neighbors and social welfare facilities. Last year, Sinan-gun distributed 440 million won through the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea for emergency support, lottery funds, and designated donations.

Kim Donggeuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae, said, "Sinan-gun's efforts to spread the culture of sharing and the active participation of local residents have brought about these valuable results," and added, "Jeonnam Sarangui Yeolmae will continue to strive to ensure that the culture of sharing for caring for neighbors in the community continues to spread."

Park Woorang, Mayor of Sinan-gun, said, "I am grateful to everyone who participated and donated for neighbors in need despite the difficult economic situation," and added, "We will continue to work to spread the culture of sharing in the future."
