"7 Days of Rest (休)" is designed to allow families of people with disabilities to break free from caregiving duties and have complete personal time, helping them to find a healthy sense of self.

In 2025, through "7 Days of Rest (休)," the city plans to conduct various participatory activities such as perfumery, glass art, baking, leather crafting, and terrarium decorating over 7 weeks (once a week) from the 1st to the 8th session.

This project will be held at local workshops within the city to promote coexistence with local small business owners and to establish a foundation for families' social participation.

The recruitment period for participants in the first half of the year is from the 19th to the 24th, and recruitment for the second half is scheduled for June.

Hwang Suk-yeon, Director of the Disability Welfare Division, stated, "There is a need for support measures to provide psychological and emotional stability to families of people with disabilities who are exhausted from caregiving duties," adding, "We will continuously seek support measures by discovering various resources for this purpose."
