Yoon In-dae, Deputy Minister for Economic Policy at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, is delivering opening remarks at the "1st Regular Meeting of the Corporate Employment Difficulty Resolution Hotline" held on the afternoon of the 19th at aT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The government and six major economic organizations are launching a hotline to improve youth employment conditions.
On the 19th, Deputy Minister Yoon In-dae of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Lee Jeong-han, Director of Employment Policy at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, held the first regular meeting of the Corporate Employment Difficulty Resolution Hotline at the aT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, discussing operational directions with representatives from the six economic organizations.
On this day, the government and the six economic organizations actively agreed on the need to improve the difficult youth employment conditions and decided to fully activate the hotline.
A Ministry of Economy and Finance official explained, "If the six economic organizations continuously submit employment difficulties of their member companies to the hotline, the government plans to promptly devise solutions."
Earlier, the government and the six economic organizations agreed to establish and operate the "Corporate Employment Difficulty Resolution Hotline" to support companies' job creation efforts when they signed the "Public-Private Job Creation Agreement" at the Livelihood Economy Inspection Meeting last month.
The attendees also agreed to hold regular meetings once every quarter to share reviews and processing results of difficulties, and to announce tasks for system improvement through major meetings such as the Job Inspection Team.
The six economic organizations stated, "We greatly appreciate the government's interest in resolving employment difficulties for companies and youth, which will be a great help," and added, "We will strive to vividly convey the field difficulties of our member companies."
