The seminar took place in the second-floor conference room of the Masan Fish Market Merchants Association and was co-hosted by Home&Shopping and the Korea Federation of SMEs.

Approximately 50 people attended the event, including National Assembly member Choi Hyungdu, Noh Hyuntae, Gyeongnam Regional Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs, Son Hankook, Director of the Gyeongnam Regional Office of the Small and Medium Business Administration, Park Sunjun, Head of the Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters of the Small and Medium Business Promotion Corporation, Park Sangkyu, Head of the Changwon Center of the Small Enterprise and Market Service, and the Masan Integrated Merchants Federation.

The seminar lasted about 80 minutes and included support for local facilities, expert lectures, and guidance on mutual aid systems for small businesses and self-employed merchants. It also provided customized mentoring services aimed at improving the challenging circumstances faced by traditional market merchants in expanding their sales channels.

In particular, as part of local facility support, products worth 10 million KRW from Masan Fish Market were donated to Geumgang Senior Welfare Center and Masan General Social Welfare Center to promote mutual growth and development in the local community.

Home&Shopping has been running a traditional market support project since December 2024 and is currently selling 12 products from 7 stores at Masan Fish Market through its mobile app during the month of March.

Additionally, on the 28th at 3:10 PM, a joint broadcast will feature four products: salted seafood, dried seaweed, dried pollack strips, and broth sticks.

A Home&Shopping representative stated, "We will spare no effort in providing various support to strengthen the competitiveness of traditional markets and small business owners. We hope this seminar will help merchants better understand the e-commerce market and create real opportunities to expand their sales channels. We will continue to promote the value of traditional markets nationwide and actively support their use of digital distribution channels."

Choi Hyungdu commented, "Local traditional markets are facing increasing difficulties, but through the 'small business e-commerce model,' Masan Fish Market, the largest in Gyeongnam, and other traditional markets in Masan can grow beyond Gyeongnam to become national markets and reach more consumers."
