Namwon City Recruiting 'Youth Council Members' Until the 31st

Namwon City in Jeollabuk-do announced on the 19th that it is recruiting members for the 3rd Youth Council, who will participate in the 8th term of the youth policy, until the 31st.

Anyone aged 19 to 45 who resides in Namwon City is eligible to apply.

Those selected as members of the 3rd Youth Council will serve a two-year term from next month until March 2027. They will be able to participate in a variety of activities, including proposing opinions on overall youth policies, discovering new agendas, monitoring, and planning youth festivals.

In particular, the 3rd Youth Council will be linked with the Namwon Cheongnyeonmaru youth club project, providing up to 1 million won per division in club activity support funds. In addition, various opportunities will be offered to encourage active participation in city administration, such as benchmarking advanced youth culture sites and providing on-site participatory budgeting education.

A city official said, "We hope for the active interest and participation of young people so that their ideas as Namwon youth can be realized as policy."
