"Seoul Mobility Show with 451 Companies from 12 Countries Opens on the 3rd of Next Month"

Various Companies Including Hyundai, Kia, BYD, and Lotte to Participate

The country's largest mobility exhibition, '2025 Seoul Mobility Show (Seoul Mobility Show 2025),' will be held from the media day on the 3rd of next month until the 13th. This event, held at KINTEX in Goyang, will feature a record number of companies?451 from 12 countries?showcasing the vision of future mobility.


On the 19th, the Seoul Mobility Show Organizing Committee announced the key progress of the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show' at the Science and Technology Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.


Chairman Kang Nam-hoon of the organizing committee stated, "The 2025 Seoul Mobility Show will present the most diverse range of products and services in the mobility sector in the 30-year history of the exhibition," adding, "We will demonstrate the vision of future mobility through innovations that transcend spatial limits?land, sea, and air?and break technological boundaries."


The organizing committee set this year's event themes as ▲Mobility Everywhere (Beyond Space) ▲Beyond Boundaries (Beyond Technology).

Among the complete vehicle brands, 12 brands including Hyundai Motor Company, Kia, and Genesis will participate.


Kia will showcase its Purpose Built Vehicle (PBV) lineup, and Motrex, a vehicle infotainment specialist company, will also unveil a PBV utilizing Hyundai's ST1 platform.


Additionally, Chinese BYD and British Lotus will enter the Korean market and participate in the Seoul Mobility Show for the first time. BYD plans to showcase its mid-size sedan SEAL at this event.


This year, the event also attracts attention as a shipbuilding company participates for the first time. Domestic eco-friendly ship manufacturer Vincen will reveal the 'Epoch2,' a leisure electric vessel capable of operating for three hours. Sambo Motors Group will present an actual operational vertical take-off and landing urban air mobility (UAM) vehicle. This aircraft can fly up to approximately 100 km. It is the first to apply a hybrid power system that uses batteries for vertical take-off and landing and hydrogen fuel cells for cruising flight.


HD Hyundai, participating as this year's headline partner, will globally unveil its next-generation new model excavator for the first time. Forty-two parts companies, including Hyundai Mobis, Seoyon, and BorgWarner, will set up booths. Hyundai Mobis will showcase a holographic windshield transparent display that provides visual information to drivers by projecting various driving data panoramically through a special optical film on the vehicle's front windshield.


Lotte Group will also demonstrate mobility technology at the Seoul Mobility Show. Lotte Innovate will unveil the country's first autonomous shuttle without a driver's seat, approved for a speed of 40 km/h, and will offer test rides outdoors for visitors.


The organizing committee is preparing various business platforms to encourage the development of new mobility technologies and expand business creation among related industries.


Starting on the 7th, the 'Asia Mobility Forum' will discuss mobility policies and technologies of major ASEAN countries, followed by specialized forum sessions from the 8th to the 11th. Keynotes from global companies such as Uber and HERE Technologies will be featured, and tracks will be operated in collaboration with specialized associations in fields including autonomous driving, UAM, robotics, software, and AI.


The Seoul Mobility Show is the only international mobility exhibition in Korea accredited by the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d'Automobiles (OICA). It began in 1995 and is held every two years. Since 2021, the event name was changed from Seoul Motor Show to Seoul Mobility Show to reflect changes in the future mobility industry.
