Hana Bank announced on the 19th that it has opened the first public-private partnership middle-aged and senior retirement preparation support center, 'Chuncheon Hana 50+ Culture Bank,' in Chuncheon City, Gangwon Province.
The opening ceremony was attended by key officials including Lee Ho-sung, President of Hana Bank; Yuk Dong-han, Mayor of Chuncheon; Bae Suk-kyung, Vice Chairman of the Chuncheon City Council; and Shin Yong-jun, Chairman of the Chuncheon Future Together Foundation. They marked a new turning point in middle-aged support policies in Gangwon Province through a mutual cooperation agreement for middle-aged support.
Hana Bank provides financial education and counseling for future planning for the middle-aged and senior population. Chuncheon City and the Chuncheon Future Together Foundation will operate 'Chuncheon Hana 50+ Culture Bank' as a core space for middle-aged support and utilize it as a key platform for implementing Chuncheon City's welfare policies.
'Chuncheon Hana 50+ Culture Bank' is located on the 3rd floor of the Hana Bank Chuncheon branch and consists of ▲ counseling desks ▲ educational spaces ▲ lounge (cafeteria) ▲ creator room.
At the counseling desks, various retirement preparation concerns faced by the middle-aged and seniors are addressed through job introduction and reemployment support education. Additionally, customized counseling services are provided in the four major areas of retirement preparation: ▲ economic preparation ▲ health management ▲ social relationship formation ▲ leisure and self-realization.
In the educational spaces, senior academies and special lectures on life redesign, certification acquisition, financial and digital literacy are regularly held. In the lounge and creator room, support activities for new middle-aged clubs are conducted to allow middle-aged individuals to freely gather, share hobbies, and take on new challenges.
Lee Ho-sung, President of Hana Bank, said, "It is especially meaningful that this is the first middle-aged support space established through public-private cooperation in Chuncheon, Gangwon, outside the metropolitan area," adding, "We have renovated the Hana Bank Chuncheon branch as a support space for the middle-aged with the heartfelt intention of warmly welcoming senior customers from the Chuncheon area."
He continued, "'Chuncheon Hana 50+ Culture Bank' is not only a space supporting future planning through finance but also a place that considers and supports life changes such as reemployment and education that the middle-aged realistically need," and stated, "We will continue to collaborate with Chuncheon City and the Chuncheon Future Together Foundation to enrich the lives of the middle-aged population in Chuncheon."
