Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Announces Recruitment for 3rd Generation 'Seoul Education Information Promotion' Supporters

60 Members Including 50 Social Media Reporters and 10 Media Creators

The Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education is recruiting the 'Seoul Education Mate 3rd Generation (Online Supporters)' to create content related to education in Seoul.

The Office announced on the 18th that it will select a total of 60 supporters, including 50 social media reporters and 10 media creators, from the 19th to the 31st of this month.

Anyone aged 18 or older living in the Seoul metropolitan area who operates their own social media or blog, is capable of video production, and is proficient in using social media (SNS) can apply. Activities will begin with an inauguration ceremony in early April and continue for eight months until November.

Seoul Education Mate, which started with 20 members in 2023, expanded to 60 members last year. During this period, the number of contents increased by 3.8 times (178 → 689), and total views grew by 16.1 times (27,512 → 444,436).

In particular, it is evaluated that through producing various types of content, the program actively communicated with citizens and contributed to raising understanding and interest in Seoul education policies.

Jung Geun-sik, Superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education, said, "Seoul Education Mate has been making Seoul education special through active communication with citizens over the past two years."
