Gwangju and Jeonnam are expected to see rain or snow from early morning to afternoon on the 18th, with the weather gradually clearing up from the night. Up to 8 cm of snow is expected in the eastern inland areas of Jeonnam.


According to the Gwangju Meteorological Administration, rain or snow is expected from early morning to afternoon on this day. The expected precipitation is 5-10 mm, and the expected snowfall is 3-8 cm in the eastern inland areas of Jeonnam, and 1-5 cm in Gwangju and Jeonnam.


The morning's lowest temperatures will be -2 degrees Celsius in Jangseong, -1 degree in Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, and Boseong, 0 degrees in Hampyeong, Yeonggwang, Muan, Naju, Yeongam, Jangheung, and Haenam, 1 degree in Gwangju, Suncheon, Gwangyang, Goheung, and Gangjin, and 2 degrees in Mokpo, Shinan, Jindo, Wando, and Yeosu.


The day's highest temperatures will be 8 degrees Celsius in Suncheon, Gwangyang, Yeosu, and Goheung, 7 degrees in Jangheung, Gangjin, and Wando, 6 degrees in Gwangju, Damyang, Gokseong, Gurye, Haenam, Jindo, and Shinan, and 5 degrees in Jangseong, Yeonggwang, Hampyeong, Muan, Mokpo, Yeongam, and Boseong, which is lower than the previous day.


Waves in the West Sea and South Sea will range from 1.5 to 3.5 meters. Fine and ultrafine dust levels are expected to remain 'moderate' until the morning and improve to 'good' in the afternoon.


An official from the Gwangju Meteorological Administration said, "There may be gusty winds, thunder, and lightning in areas where rain or snow falls, so please pay attention to facility management and safety accidents."
