The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will carry out a customized support project for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in 27 cities and counties within the province.
On the 17th, the agency announced that it is recruiting participating companies for the "2025 Customized Support Project for Development, Production, and Sales of Small and Medium Enterprises" until the 28th.
The Customized Support Project for Development, Production, and Sales of Small and Medium Enterprises is a program that supports costs required for development, production, and market expansion to enhance corporate competitiveness and achieve successful commercialization through field-oriented, customized support considering regional characteristics.
This project will select 1,200 small and medium enterprises within the province and provide up to 20 million KRW per company. Eligible companies are small and medium enterprises located in 27 cities and counties excluding four areas?Seongnam, Anyang, Ansan, and Yongin?as of the announcement date, with annual sales of 12 billion KRW or less.
The detailed support includes 10 tasks in three areas: ▲Idea Development (domestic and international industrial property applications, domestic and international certification support, industrial technology information) ▲Product Production (prototype manufacturing, testing and analysis) ▲Market Expansion (website production support, participation in domestic and international exhibitions, product packaging, domestic promotional sales support).
Kim Hyun-gon, head of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, "This project supports the essential elements needed throughout the entire process from product development to production and marketing." He added, "We will actively support the strengthening of competitiveness of small and medium enterprises through the four regional centers operated by the agency."
Meanwhile, last year, the agency supported 1,045 companies through this project and completed 1,427 commercialization tasks. As a result, sales increased by 740 billion KRW, and 1,884 new jobs were created.
