Convenient Online Application Now Available
Buan County in North Jeolla Province is introducing the 'Integrated Permit Support Service (IPSS)', which allows for convenient online applications, starting this month.
According to the county on the 17th, the Integrated Permit Support Service is an online system that provides a one-stop service from the application for development activity permits, real-time status tracking, to the issuance of completion certificates. It is expected to greatly enhance convenience for civil petitioners.
The Integrated Permit Support Service is a system that supports land use and development permits in an integrated manner. Previously, applicants had to print out relevant documents and visit the county office in person multiple times to submit applications and check the progress. However, with IPSS, it is possible to conveniently apply for permits and receive completion certificates for development activities online.
The county will also be able to handle all development activity permit tasks digitally, enabling quick and transparent management of permit information and improving the efficiency of civil affairs, which is expected to lead to smoother administrative services.
The county will implement the Integrated Permit Support Service starting this month. However, to prevent confusion among residents, the county will operate both the existing application methods (in-person and mail) and the online system until the end of this month, and plans to fully digitize the process starting next month.
Kim Jinwoo, head of the Saemangeum Urban Division, said, "The introduction of the Integrated Permit Support Service is expected to reduce the administrative burden on residents and provide faster and more efficient permit services," adding, "We will continue to expand convenient administrative services for county residents in the future."
