Support in Celebration of OECD International Financial Education Week
100 Million KRW Donated for Education Support... Event and Content Production
Kakao Pay announced on the 17th that it has signed a business agreement with the Credit Recovery Committee for the 'Military Personnel Credit Education Support Project.'
The two companies signed the agreement in conjunction with the OECD International Financial Education Week.
They will jointly operate the military personnel credit education project. The project supports education to eliminate blind spots in financial education and to address the credit crisis risks faced by youth.
Kakao Pay will sponsor a fund of 100 million KRW to support events for credit education targeting military personnel, provide souvenir kits, and produce customized credit education video content.
The two companies will cooperate to solve the credit crisis risk issues faced by military personnel.
They plan to offer various programs that help form proper financial values and eliminate blind spots in financial education, including customized credit education.
A Credit Recovery Committee official said, "We will support credit education to strengthen practical financial capabilities for military personnel and young adults entering society."
A Kakao Pay official stated, "We will provide various support not only for military personnel but also for youth and seniors who have been excluded from financial education."
