Yeongju City Invites Clubs to Apply for 'Youth Club Activity Support Project'

Recruiting Nine Clubs Until April 1
Each Club to Receive 900,000 KRW in Activity Support Funds

Yeongju City in North Gyeongsang Province is recruiting nine clubs to participate in the "Youth Club Activity Support Project" from the 17th until April 1.

The target applicants are clubs consisting of at least three young people aged 19 to 39 who are registered residents of Yeongju City. Clubs focusing on themes such as culture and arts, hobbies and leisure, and local development research are eligible to apply.

However, clubs formed solely for social gatherings, or those with political, commercial, or religious purposes, as well as clubs aiming for one-time events, education, or travel, are excluded from eligibility.

The first round of screening will consider the appropriateness, enthusiasm, feasibility, and validity of the business plan. After this, the final nine clubs will be selected through a review by the Yeongju City Local Subsidy Review Committee. Each selected club will receive 900,000 KRW in activity support funds.

Clubs wishing to participate must prepare the application form and activity plan and submit them in person to the Yeongju City Hall Job and Economy Division or via email by 6:00 p.m. on April 1.

The application forms and further details can be found in the announcements section of the city’s official website. For other inquiries, contact the Job and Economy Division.

Kim Wonseop, head of the Job and Economy Division, said, "We hope this project will provide young people in Yeongju City with opportunities to grow while engaging in various fields of interest," and added, "We will continue to strive to develop diverse support policies for the youth."
