Samsung Asset Launches Samsung Global Core AI Target Conversion Fund

Samsung Asset Management announced on the 17th the launch of the Samsung Global Core AI Target Conversion Fund, which invests in core artificial intelligence (AI) companies. This product enhances investment stability by maintaining a stable bond allocation while focusing investments on key industries within the AI ecosystem.


The Samsung Global Core AI Target Conversion Fund is composed of bonds and AI-related stocks. The investment ratio is managed at approximately 60% bonds and 40% stocks. Bonds are invested in short-term high-quality bonds, bond ETFs, and money market ETFs to ensure stability, while stocks focus on companies related to high-growth AI core themes such as semiconductors/infrastructure, software, and robotics to enhance performance.


The target return is set at 7%, and after achieving the target, the entire portfolio will be converted into bonds and bond ETFs and redeemed after six months.


The leading AI industry is broadly divided into three sectors: semiconductors/infrastructure, software, and robotics. The semiconductor/infrastructure sector includes high-performance semiconductors for AI computing, high-speed chipsets, and data center infrastructure. The software sector refers to AI solution areas such as big data analytics, generative AI, and cybersecurity. Lastly, the robotics sector focuses on robots and humanoid technologies that assist or replace human physical labor.


The Samsung Global Core AI Target Conversion Fund is a product that maximizes growth opportunities in the AI market by concentrating investments in globally leading companies with competitiveness and technological capabilities. It is managed as a compressed portfolio by selecting representative companies in each AI sector.


In the semiconductor/infrastructure sector, investments focus on large-cap stocks related to AI semiconductors and data center infrastructure, with representative stocks including ▲NVIDIA ▲Marvell Technology ▲Vertiv. The software sector encompasses various companies in big data solutions and cybersecurity, with major investment targets such as ▲Palantir ▲ServiceNow ▲Salesforce. In the robotics sector, investments concentrate on companies leading industrial and service robots and humanoid technologies, with representative stocks including ▲Tesla ▲Intuitive Surgical ▲Symbotic.

It will be the optimal choice for investors seeking to capture growth opportunities in the AI market."


The Samsung Global Core AI Target Conversion Fund will be offered through Kookmin Bank, Hana Bank, Shinhan Bank, NongHyup Bank, Gwangju Bank, Samsung Securities, Mirae Asset Securities, NH Investment & Securities, Eugene Investment & Securities, and Yuanta Securities until the 28th. The fund's inception date is the 31st.
