GS Retail's convenience store GS25 announced on the 17th that it will conduct open recruitment for new employees in the first half of 2025.
The number of recruits will be in double digits, and applications will be accepted until the 31st. In this recruitment, GS25 has newly introduced the 'Spec-Transcending Track' in addition to the general track, campus recruiting, and discharged officer track. This track excludes traditional quantitative specs such as academic background and language scores, focusing instead on evaluating creative ideas and growth potential.

Applicants for the Spec-Transcending Track must submit a video or portfolio on the theme of why they want to grow together with GS Retail and innovative convenience store strategies to provide differentiated customer experiences. Based on the submitted materials, a presentation interview will be conducted, focusing on evaluating the applicant's creative problem-solving skills and business understanding.
Recruitment briefings and experience programs will also be offered. On the 24th, an event will be held at GS25 Ground Blue49 in Insadong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, where participants can experience future-oriented new technologies for convenience stores. On the 26th, a recruitment briefing will be held on a metaverse platform, allowing applicants to obtain recruitment information remotely. From the 18th, on-site recruitment briefings will be conducted at major universities nationwide.

The recruitment process includes ▲application submission ▲artificial intelligence (AI) competency test ▲first interview (campus recruiting track interviews are held at regional universities) ▲second interview (for those who pass the Spec-Transcending Track) and employment health checkups. The final successful candidates will be announced and onboarding procedures completed in July.
