Han Jungsoo, Director of Gwangju Saeuri Hospital, Donates Development Fund to Chonnam National University Hospital

Chonnam National University Hospital announced on the 16th that Han Jeongsu, Director of the Department of Radiology at Gwangju Saeuri Hospital, has donated 100 million KRW as a development fund.

The donation ceremony, held recently at the reception room on the 2nd floor of the administration building at Chonnam National University Hospital, was attended by Hospital Director Jeong Shin, Planning and Coordination Director Joo Seongpil, Education and Training Director Jeong Sookin, External Cooperation Director Han Jaeyoung, and Director Han Jeongsu from Gwangju Saeuri Hospital.

Director Han graduated from Chonnam National University College of Medicine and completed his training at Chonnam National University Hospital. He previously served as Head of the Department of Radiology at Chosun University Hospital and as the Chief Director of Gwangju Imaging Diagnostic Center, and is currently the Director of the Department of Radiology at Gwangju Saeuri Hospital.

Director Han stated, "As the conflict between the medical community and the government has become prolonged, I have heard both internally and externally that Chonnam National University Hospital is going through a very difficult time, and I wanted to provide support. Thanks to the excellent training I received as a resident at Chonnam National University Hospital, I am where I am today. I decided to make this donation to contribute to the hospital, even if only in a small way."

Jeong Shin, Director of Chonnam National University Hospital, said, "Thanks to the many alumni who are active in the local medical community, Chonnam National University Hospital has been able to develop. We will do our best to overcome this difficult period and establish a regionally integrated essential medical system as a responsible regional medical institution."
