‘Ilsang-ui Teum’ Opens Near Jamsil Baseball Stadium

LG Uplus announced on the 16th that it has opened an offline store specialized in selling sports goods to coincide with the opening of the professional baseball season. This store sells various professional baseball goods through collaboration with the LG Twins, providing a differentiated customer experience for sports fans.

The first store is the 'Ilsang-ui Teum Jamsil Saenae Direct Store' located in Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, near the professional baseball stadium. LG Uplus converted the existing store into a specialized sports goods store. 'Ilsang-ui Teum' is an experiential store where customers can directly experience various products and services, with 28 stores currently operating nationwide.

The newly renovated 'Ilsang-ui Teum Jamsil Saenae Direct Store' operates in a 'shop-in-shop' format, selling LG Twins uniforms and goods alongside existing telecommunications product sales and consultation services. The biggest feature of this store is that it provides a one-stop service for various goods, including uniforms, which were previously sold at multiple locations within the baseball stadium.

Through this, baseball fans are expected to conveniently use services such as purchasing uniforms, marking, and attaching patches. In particular, customer convenience is expected to improve as visitors are dispersed and can purchase desired products immediately without long waiting times.

In addition to selling goods, LG Uplus plans to install a photo card kiosk so that sports fans can enjoy their time at the store.

Going forward, LG Uplus plans to expand its collaboration with its own characters and the LG Twins to produce various exclusive goods and to further expand specialized sports goods stores so that fans from various regions can visit.
