Employees from Goryeong County and Cheongdo County participated in the donation program to revitalize the local economies of both regions and promote a culture of giving. They also shared information about each other's major policies and took time to discuss ways for the regions to coexist and thrive amid the crisis of local extinction.

Lee Seonggu, head of the Environmental Division, said, "I am pleased that mutual donations among the staff have led to continued exchanges between the two regions," adding, "I hope the culture of Hometown Love Donations, which can contribute to the development of our county, will continue to spread."

The Hometown Love Donation Program allows individuals to donate to their hometowns, excluding their place of residence. Donors receive a tax deduction and can also receive a thank-you gift worth up to 30% of their donation. Donations can be made through the Hometown Love eum website or at Nonghyup branches nationwide.
