The Suncheon National University Museum also operates exhibition-linked experiential programs for university students, youth, and culturally marginalized groups. Since its opening, over 1,000 students and citizens have directly experienced Korean traditional culture through activities such as making beoseon (traditional socks) frames, jogakbo (patchwork wrapping cloth), and mother-of-pearl soban (small tables).
An exhibition and education official said, "The high-quality transmission crafts by intangible cultural heritage artisans have received great satisfaction not only from local residents but also from foreign visitors. We hope that the extended exhibition period will allow more people to enjoy the beauty and cultural value of Korean traditional arts."
Meanwhile, this exhibition was organized as part of the National University Promotion Project to promote the development of local culture and arts and enhance cultural enjoyment for local residents through cooperation with local cultural institutions, organizations, and artists.
