Security Guard Injured on Face and Neck
"I Came to Find Someone Hospitalized," Rambling Statements
A woman who wielded a weapon at a security guard at Ajou University Hospital located in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, was apprehended by the police.
On the 14th, the Suwon Southern Police Station announced that they plan to request an arrest warrant for a woman in her 30s, identified as A, who is suspected of attempted murder. A attacked B, a security guard in his 40s, with a weapon in the hospital's first-floor lobby at around 8:50 p.m. the previous day.
The police responded to the hospital's report and arrested A at the scene as a suspect caught in the act. B sustained injuries to his face, neck, and hands and received treatment, but his life is not in danger.
During the police investigation, A appeared to ramble and stated that "I came to find someone who was hospitalized, but when the security guard said there was no one, I committed the crime," or words to that effect.
