Support Provided for 72 Households
Jeonju City in Jeonbuk is implementing a 'Home Renovation Project for Low-Income Households.'
According to the city on the 14th, this project aims to support green remodeling and installation of convenience facilities for old and substandard houses. A total of 432 million KRW, including lottery funds and city funds, will be invested until the end of October.
The city plans to support the renovation of a total of 72 households this year, with up to 6 million KRW available per household.

The city will conduct on-site inspections of the selected households and focus on improving living spaces and energy efficiency by replacing windows and boilers, installing insulation on walls and roofs, installing security facilities, and renovating kitchens and bathrooms.
Previously, from 2006 to last year, the city invested a total of 18.551 billion KRW through this project to support the renovation of about 6,000 households.
Kim Seongsu, head of Jeonju City's Architecture Division, said, "We plan to carry out this project with utmost care so that residents struggling in poor living conditions can enjoy a more comfortable and convenient life," and added, "As this project receives high satisfaction from the supported households, we will strive to further expand the scale of the project next year."
