Singer Jennie set the highest first-week sales among K-pop female solo artists this year with her first solo full-length album, 'Ruby.'
According to Hanteo Chart on the 14th, Ruby sold 661,130 copies during the first week (March 7?13) after its release on the 7th. 'Ruby' ranked 9th on the US Apple Music Top Albums Chart, marking the first and highest position for a K-pop solo artist, and secured 2nd place on the European Apple Music Top Albums Chart, achieving the highest rank for a K-pop female solo artist.
The title track of Ruby, 'like JENNIE,' maintains a top position on major domestic music streaming sites and entered Spotify's Daily Top Songs Global Chart at 12th place, rising to 7th.
