According to Gwangsan District on the 14th, the Gwangsan Senior House is a senior employment support institution established through the Wondosan Urban Regeneration New Deal Project. It plays a role in developing and expanding jobs suitable for seniors.


The Wondosan Urban Regeneration New Deal Project is an urban regeneration initiative that has invested a total project cost of 15.8 billion KRW (7.9 billion KRW from the national government and 7.9 billion KRW from local governments) over eight years since 2018 to implement 13 projects including housing support and the expansion of living infrastructure.


Gwangsan District provides various job opportunities and social activity programs for people aged 60 and over through projects such as the Shintobuli Health Center and senior stores. The focus is on expanding public services and improving the quality of life for local residents.


Park Byungkyu, the head of the district office, said, "We will actively support efforts to broaden opportunities for social participation and improve quality of life."
