Lee Jun-seok "Yoon Seok-yeol and Lee Jae-myung Should Both Be Expelled from Politics"

Lee Jun-seok, a member of the Reform New Party, commented on the Constitutional Court's dismissal of the impeachment motion against Choi Jae-hae, head of the Board of Audit and Inspection, Lee Chang-soo, chief prosecutor of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, and two other prosecutors, stating, "Since the impeachment was unreasonable from the start, the dismissal was a foregone conclusion."

On the 13th, Lee said on his Facebook, "The impeachment motion against the prosecutors was a patchwork impeachment to the extent that the Constitutional Court justices directly pointed out that the grounds for the motion were vague." He added, "The Reform New Party and I have pointed this out from the beginning, and in the end, due to the Democratic Party, we ended up paying unnecessary social costs." He also noted, "Since the Democratic Party has many lawmakers with legal backgrounds, they must have anticipated this impeachment dismissal."

He continued, "It can only be seen that Representative Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party privatized the constitutional means of impeachment like a toy to politically retaliate against the prosecutors investigating the preferential treatment suspicions in Daejang-dong and Baekhyeon-dong and the money envelope incident." He criticized, "If the Democratic Party truly did not know the impeachment would be dismissed, they are incompetent; if they did know, they are accomplices disturbing the country along with the president."

Lee also said, "The Democratic Party and the People Power Party continue a hostile symbiotic relationship that raises each other's approval ratings through repeated antics." He added, "Like Pavlov's dogs, Lee Jae-myung and the Democratic Party, who only shout impeachment, are actually empowering Yoon Seok-youl and the People Power Party, who talk about martial law." He emphasized, "Now is the time to break this symbiotic relationship. Both the president, who fell into delusions of election fraud and privatized the military and police to declare martial law, and Representative Lee Jae-myung, who, out of resentment toward the prosecution, has fallen into another delusion by privatizing impeachment, should be expelled from politics."

Lee stated, "While the whole world is preparing for the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and discussing future industries, we are living in a premodern era of martial law, serial impeachments, and 'Jambidia'." He added, "Despite the Democratic Party and the People Power Party repeatedly engaging in regressive antics, the social costs are borne by the people, creating a vicious cycle."

Furthermore, he said, "Unfortunately, neither the ruling party nor the main opposition seems capable of presenting such leaders as candidates." He argued, "If an early presidential election is held, both parties will put forward candidates lost in delusions, and the people will once again turn away from politics."

In conclusion, he said, "I will become the first penguin to break the hostile symbiotic relationship between the two parties and normalize politics." He added, "This dismissal decision on the flimsy impeachment will clearly establish constitutional justice for those who disturb the constitutional order and must be impeached."
