Mayor Kang Visits Pocheon "Fighter Jet Bombing Accident Special Disaster Area" Site
Encourages Field Workers Dedicated to Recovery and Offers Comfort to Affected Residents
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City visited Nogok-ri, Idong-myeon, Pocheon City, which was declared a "special disaster area" due to the "fighter jet bombing accident," on the afternoon of the 13th, along with senior officials from related departments and members of the Yangju City Integrated Defense Council (Chairman Jeon Chae-seong).

This visit was a meaningful occasion to express deep condolences and encouragement to the residents who suffered enormous damage from the accident and to the field workers dedicated to recovery efforts, as well as to further strengthen solidarity and support within the local community.
On the day, Mayor Kang toured the damage site, encouraged the officials and volunteers actively engaged in recovery work, and directly acknowledged and comforted the pain of the residents.
Mayor Kang Su-hyun of Yangju City said, "I extend my condolences to the residents of Pocheon City who were affected by this accident," and added, "I hope for a swift return to normal daily life."
Meanwhile, during this visit, the Yangju City Integrated Defense Council delivered consolation items consisting of cup noodles, bottled water, and Choco Pie to support the affected residents.
Chairman Jeon Chae-seong conveyed a warm message, saying, "I hope this small token brings some comfort to the residents."
