John Williams' novel Stoner rose 15 places from last week to rank 3rd overall at Kyobo Bookstore. It is gaining renewed attention through edited content on Hong Jin-kyung's YouTube channel, showing another reverse climb. The highest proportion of readers is in their 40s, accounting for 28%.
In addition, the popularity of novels such as Mosun, Geupryu, and Chaesikjuija continues.
Thanks to the success of director Bong Joon-ho's film Mickey 17, the original novel of the same name ranked 19th overall.
Choi Jae-chun's Yangsim rose 138 places to 25th (20th on Yes24) after the author appeared on a current affairs program, drawing attention. Lee Kyung-kyu's Salmiraneun Wanbyeokhan Nongdam climbed 30 places to 30th (9th on Yes24).
