Accordingly, Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 13th that it will take proactive measures such as operating the ‘Visiting Common Housing Management First Step Education’ to establish a transparent and safe residential culture in multi-family housing.

This education, implemented for the first time this year, targets newly occupied complexes in 2025 or common housing complexes that will be converted to mandatory management targets.

Customized education is provided step-by-step from the early move-in stage to the formation of the residents' representative meeting, designed to offer practical help.

The main contents include ▲pre-move-in business of the housing project ▲procedures to be performed during the designated move-in period ▲formation of the election management committee and residents' representative meeting ▲decision on management methods ▲guidelines for selecting housing management companies and contractors, covering essential matters to know in the early stages of move-in.

In particular, the education is conducted in a Q&A format through direct on-site visits, focusing on resolving residents' practical questions.

Through this, the city expects to maximize the work efficiency of residents and managers and further raise the overall residential environment level of the common housing complexes.

A Yangju City official said, “We hope this education will serve as an opportunity to prevent frequent disputes in common housing and facilitate smooth communication between the city and residents,” adding, “We will continue to support the establishment of a healthy residential culture.”

Meanwhile, on the 12th, the city successfully completed the ‘Visiting Common Housing Management First Step Education’ targeting the presidents of the prospective residents' councils and the managers of the two complexes at ‘Jangheung Station Gyeongnam Honorsville Bukhansan View Apartments Blocks 4 and 5’ within the jurisdiction.
