Uiseong County in North Gyeongsang Province announced on the 13th that it held a '2026 National Investment Budget Acquisition and Public Project Progress Report Meeting' on the 12th, focusing on strategies to secure national funding.
Kim Jusu, the mayor of Uiseong County, is speaking at the 2026 National Investment Budget Securing and Public Project Promotion Status Report Meeting held on the 12th at the county office large conference room.
At the meeting, the county analyzed the results of securing national investment budgets over the past five years and reviewed the goals and progress for acquiring national funding in 2026.
In particular, participants discussed issues and response measures, sharing step-by-step strategies to maximize the acquisition of national funding and public project selection.
Major proposed projects include: ▲ Establishment of an Open-field Smart Agriculture Promotion District (KRW 13 billion) ▲ Expansion of Livestock Manure Public Treatment Facility (KRW 9.4 billion) ▲ Match Factory Cultural Regeneration Project (KRW 5.6 billion) ▲ Improvement of Biani-do Natural Disaster Risk Area (KRW 5 billion) ▲ Establishment of an AI-based High-value New Material Industrialization Foundation (KRW 3 billion).
Uiseong County plans to continue discovering new projects that reflect local needs and mid- to long-term plans, making every effort to secure national funding.
County Governor Kim Jusu emphasized, "As it becomes increasingly difficult to secure national budgets due to fiscal decentralization and expenditure restructuring, we will thoroughly analyze the central government's budget policies and do our utmost to attract core projects that will serve as future growth engines."
