IBK Industrial Bank Hosts Seminar Inviting AI Experts

Experts Invited to Share Strategies and Case Studies
on AI Agent Utilization for Small Business Owners

On the 13th, IBK Industrial Bank of Korea announced that it held an 'AI Expert Invitation Seminar' on the theme of 'AI Agent Utilization Strategies for Small Business Owners' at the IBK Finance Tower in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul.

This seminar was organized to explore various ways to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into small business management and to share cases of AI agent utilization. Approximately 270 people attended the seminar, including professors, researchers, consultants, AI startup representatives actively working in the domestic AI field, and IBK employees.

In the first lecture, Professor Lee Kyung-jeon of Kyung Hee University presented on the topic of 'AI Trends and the Future of AI Agents.' The following lecture was given by Professor Cho Sung-bae of Yonsei University, who proposed the national AI strategy policy direction and provided an in-depth explanation of its impact on the financial industry. Additionally, there were lectures sharing cases of service development and commercialization for small business owners using AI agents, as well as panel discussions with experts.

In his opening remarks, Kim Hyung-il, Executive Director of IBK, stated, "AI agents will become essential sales support tools for small business owners' businesses," and added, "We will continue to strive to prepare support measures for small business owners using AI."

Meanwhile, IBK is actively exploring ways to utilize AI with great interest. In fact, in January, it launched and is currently providing the ‘Policy Project AI Recommendation Service,’ which recommends optimal policy projects tailored to customer conditions. In addition, IBK plans to build digital services for small business owners and intends to utilize AI agents in these services in the future.
