The Hongseong County Council in Chungnam held a discussion session to listen to various opinions from local businesspeople and reflect them in corporate support policies to revitalize the local economy.
On the afternoon of the 13th, the Hongseong County Council held a meeting with the Hongseong County Businessmen's Association at the seminar room of the Hongseong County Agricultural Technology Center, attended by Chairman Kim Deokbae, county council members, Chairman Jang Bogeun of the Hongseong County Businessmen's Association, and about 30 members.
During the meeting, there was an in-depth discussion on proposals and alternatives regarding measures to revitalize the stagnant local economy and the expansion of support policies for local businesses.
The Hongseong County Businessmen's Association proposed the following: revitalization of the local food industry, installation of a parking lot in the Gwangcheon Gim specialized complex, encouragement of local companies to win contracts for local construction projects, expansion of the low-carbon agricultural and livestock product certification system, and active promotional activities to enhance Hongseong County's recognition.
In particular, the council and businesspeople shared their understanding of the difficult realities of the local economy and presented various opinions and suggestions, including practical efforts to revitalize the local economy and requests for customized support measures from Hongseong County.
Chairman Kim Deokbae, who presided over the meeting, emphasized, "Only when businesses thrive can Hongseong County become a prosperous and happy city," and added, "The county council will take the lead in making Hongseong a business-friendly place."
Jang Bogeun, Chairman of the Hongseong County Businessmen's Association, said, "I hope this meeting will further strengthen communication with businesspeople, who play a key role in local economic development and job creation," and added, "We will do our best to contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
After listening to the participants' opinions, Chairman Kim Deokbae promised, "We will continue to communicate with the Businessmen's Association and cooperate so that their opinions can be reflected in future policies."
Based on the opinions presented at this meeting, the Hongseong County Council plans to develop and implement practical, field-oriented policies and reflect them in county administration.
