This Korean language class is conducted separately in Jeongok-eup and Baekhak-myeon, and due to the enthusiastic response from the participants, more people applied than expected, showing a strong eagerness for Korean language education.
The Korean language education at Yeoncheon-gun Family Center is conducted through six classes tailored to each stage and purpose, aimed at marriage immigrants residing in Yeoncheon-gun, children of immigrants who entered mid-way, and foreign workers, to help them adapt to Korean life through Korean language education and understanding of Korean culture.
A student who participated in the opening ceremony said, “I am happy to be able to attend Korean language classes nearby,” and added, “I want to learn Korean quickly through various Korean language education programs.”
Jogeumrang, director of Yeoncheon-gun Family Center, stated, “We will continue to make efforts to provide various programs including Korean language education to marriage immigrants and foreign residents so that they can improve their Korean language skills and adapt to Korean society.”
